We are from Denmark and have travelled the world for the United Nations for 20 years. Like so many of our colleagues who have seen the world, we decided France was the best place for our retirement. We chose Auvergne, where Silva’s French family is living. It greatly facilitated our installation. We share our time between occasional consultancies and the restoration of some of the many very old houses in the region.

We have also started in the antiques business which can be seen on the quality of all furniture in the houses. We have fallen in love with “old stones“ and want to share this with similarly afflicted. We want your stay to be a good holiday and hope that your only wish when leaving is to come back soonest. We speak Danish, English, French and can cope in German. Many come to the region to buy a house, where they are still cheap. We could also give advice on that if requested.
